Tremella (Tremella fuciformis) is an integral part not only of Chinese gastronomy, but also of traditional Chinese medicine. Choose tremella in powder form with a more optimal ratio of active ingredients. Here, we offer Tremella in the form of mushroom powder (powder/biomass), where the dried fruiting body of the mushroom is ground into a very fine powder using a special shellbroken method, which breaks down the chitin cell wall and releases the active ingredients. Compared to extract, this form has a milder effect.

Tested in the German Agrolab.

Our Tremella is grown on an organic substrate. The basis of this substrate is a mixture of sawdust, organic wheat bran, cane sugar, and natural gypsum. We use fruiting bodies for the production of our extracts.

Tremella (Tremella fuciformis) grows on deciduous trees from the tropics to temperate zones. Free from natural substances, additives, and preservatives.

About Tremella

Tremella (Tremella fuciformis) is a mushroom widespread mainly in the tropics, but also found in temperate zones. It occurs sporadically in Europe. It is also sometimes called the snow fungus because its shape resembles a snowball. It is edible and considered a delicacy in Japan. In China, it is also used to make ice cream. Thanks to its high content of beneficial substances, it has also found its place in Chinese medicine. It contains various types of polysaccharides, such as glucomannan, glucuronoxylomannans (tremellasin), fiber, selenium, amino acids, and B and D vitamins.

Dosage

• 1 - 3 g daily, at least half an hour before or after food, mix in approx. 1 dcl of water and drink (1 level teaspoon = 2 g of powder)
• we recommend taking it 5 days a week and skipping 2 days
• take on an empty stomach (min. 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal)
• when consuming vital mushrooms, we recommend increasing your intake of vitamin C, which enhances the absorption of active ingredients. For example, in the form of Brazilian cherry Acerola extract.
