L-Lysine PLUS capsules offer the amino acid lysine in concentrated form, which our body cannot produce but which can provide effective protection against certain pathogens, such as the herpes virus. In addition, lysine plays an important role in the formation of collagen, which is the building block of skin, connective tissues and blood vessel walls. In the preparation, it is further strengthened by added vitamin C. In addition, it can contribute to the formation and maintenance of normal bone structure, energy production processes and proper muscle function.

Lysine and arginine share a common metabolic pathway and therefore compete for absorption? Arginine is essential for herpes virus division, but if there is a higher concentration of lysine in the body, less arginine may be absorbed. Thus, increasing lysine concentration inhibits herpes virus division.
