Composition of Grepofit

Grapefruit seed extract: In 1980, a substance with an antibiotic effect was discovered in grapefruit seeds. This basic substance of the extract has strong effects in preventing the multiplication of bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Along with it, the high content of bioflavonoids is also key to the success of the seed extract. Natural flavonoids facilitate digestion, cleanse the body, strengthen overall resistance, help prevent colds, infections, and inflammations, improve blood circulation, and increase the defenses of mucous membranes. They are characterized by antioxidant properties, scavenging free oxygen radicals, improving the quality of blood vessel walls and preventing their increased fragility, especially capillaries. They prevent platelet aggregation and blood clot formation, thus effectively acting in the prevention of thrombosis and myocardial infarction. The mechanism of action is thus twofold, with both components complementing each other and beneficially affecting the body. Grapefruit seed extract strengthens the immune system and does not disrupt the bacterial flora beneficial for health. On the contrary, with normal dosage, it inhibits or stops the action of harmful intestinal bacteria and at the same time does not destroy bifidobacteria. The number of beneficial lactobacilli decreases only insignificantly. Hibiscus extracts disinfect the urinary tract and kidneys, contribute to the dissolution of some types of kidney stones, act as a diuretic and reduce swelling. Plant pigments anthocyanins and flavonoids (quercetin) along with vitamin C scavenge free radicals, thus slowing down aging and cell damage. Sage (Salvia officinalis): Sage essential oil exhibits antiviral, anti-inflammatory, astringent, bactericidal, and disinfectant effects. Its action is very broad – it reduces sweating (especially if it is of vegetative-nervous origin, such as night sweats during menopause or puberty), has anti-inflammatory, bactericidal, mild diuretic, astringent effects, acts against roundworms, reduces glandular secretion including breast milk production. It is used in gynecology, especially for problems at the beginning of menstruation or during menopause.
