No other vital mushroom is associated with as many tales and legends as Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum or shiny ganoderma). "Mushroom of Immortality", as the Chinese call it, has been used in Asian medicine for millennia and is highly respected. We now offer Reishi in the form of mushroom powder (powder/biomass), where the dried mushroom fruiting body is ground into a very fine powder using a special shellbroken method, which breaks down the chitinous cell wall and releases active substances. Compared to extract, this form has a milder effect.

Our Reishi is grown on an organic substrate. The base of this substrate is oak wood. For the production of our extracts, we use fruiting bodies.

Basic information

Reishi, Ganoderma lucidum, or the "Mushroom of Immortality" contains a huge amount of bioactive substances whose positive effect on human health has been scientifically proven. Polysaccharides and antioxidants, which are found in high concentrations in reishi, have recently come to the forefront of scientific interest. No excipients, additives or preservatives.

About Reishi

For centuries, Reishi has held a firm place in traditional Chinese medicine as a precious mushroom that promotes vitality and a long life. In English, its Chinese name means "mushroom of immortality." It was also used as a symbol of good luck. This clearly shows how highly valued this mushroom remains today.

Many of its traditional effects have already been demonstrated in scientific studies. Its bioactive components include, among others, polysaccharides and antioxidants. Research into this vital mushroom primarily focuses on its immunomodulatory and antitumor properties.

Dosage

• 1 - 3 g daily, at least half an hour before a meal. Mix in approximately 1 dcl of water and drink (1 level teaspoon = 2 g of powder)
• We recommend taking it 5 days a week and skipping 2 days
• Take on an empty stomach (min. 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal)
• When taking vital mushrooms, we recommend increasing vitamin C intake, which enhances the absorption of active ingredients. For example, in the form of Brazilian cherry Acerola extract.
